HYC Update – Week 17

And a Happy Monday, Blog-eteers!

Things are rolling along here. Literally, now that I have my new bike. LOL Great workouts (LOVE the new training shoes–hardly a wobble during lunges!) and I’m trying a few new things here and there.

The merciful scale provided me another 1-pound loss this week, bringing me to a total of 83.4! I’m thrilled AND grateful. I see new bling just around the corner!

Or, maybe not. I have a possible splurge meal for tomorrow. I’m hoping it won’t be THAT much of a splurge (I’d love new bling!), but when I learned a work luncheon was scheduled for one of my favorite Mexican restaurants, I decided to save my monthly allotment. Just in case. :) Besides, I missed my March splurge meal (never crossed my mind), so I feel completely okay with taking one now, should I need it.

Update 1:00 p.m.(CST) – The splurge meal designation was necessary, and it was delicious. I had 3/4 of a Mexican pizza, which is a large (think plate-sized) ultra-thin tortilla, ground beef–most of which I removed, cheese and black olives.) And about a million tortilla chips with salsa. At least that’s what it seemed like, considering that I’ve had zero tortilla chips since August.
