A few newsy items today:
JD at Get Rich Slowly (and Get Fit Slowly as well) posted this great article: Eating Organic on a Frugal Budget
Then you can learn How to Freeze Fruit from TipNut.com (warning: website automatically plays a video with sound in the sidebar, so if you're sneak surfing at work, you might want to mute your sound first.)
Essential Keystrokes shares a link to a possibly neat-o product in this post: Turn Your Treadmill into a Workstation. (I'm considering one!)
Finally, I found this quote over on Stacks and Stacks Clutter Control Freak:
I find it fascinating that most people plan their vacation with better care than they do their lives. Perhaps that is because escape is easier than change.~Jim RohnKind of stung a little when it zinged me right between the eyes.
And that's it from me today. All is well in my little corner of the universe, and I wish the same for you!

Hi, I just discovered your blog through your comment on fertilehealthy. I love that you're about slow, gradual changes (and I'd imagine that means eating REAL food instead of junk food or even fake "health food,"). And I totally agree with that philosophy of change. Looking forward to being a reader of yours!
Guess I'm not Most People.
I rarely plan my vacation... or at least, not in much detail. I'm having a vacation this week, as a matter of fact. My dad's taking my child for a week, and my husband's not taking any time off, so I'll have 5 days of glorious ME time. And I haven't planned a freaking thing.
Ouch, that stung! It's like so many people who plan their wedding in the last detail, but don't plan the marriage as well...
Essh, that does sting...Is it bad that people want their vacations to be the best they can be?? It is an escape...doesn't mean we forget about our everyday life. Jim Rohn is the fun police ;)
Thanks for the heads up to turn down the speakers. Much appreciated. LOL
I don't plan well, vacations or my life for that matter. I'd already be in single digits if I did better with that life planning part. HA!
That's a great quote from Jim Rohn. I also heard someone said that if you had a prized thoroughbred that cost you thousands of dollars, it would never enter your mind to give it junk food. You would give it only foods that would nourish and strenghten. So, why can't we treat our bodies that way? Made me think.
Love that quote and thanks for the links!
Love that quote!!
Speaking of frozen fruit....I (and my daughter) love Frozen seedless green grapes, they taste like candy in your mouth.
Great blog!!
Can't wait to read these links..they sound very interesting, esp. the frugal organic one.
Glad things are good for you Cammy...hope you are about over the sinus. ;-)
YIKES, like others, that quote hit home! I do love the escape though! I liking changing the bod but it is darn hard with "real life". Thx for the great post today!
I make a plan, er, list, for everything It's a bit obsessive, I know. I haven't figured out whether it helps me or hinders me.Vee at www.veegettinghealthy.blogspot.com
