Makeover Monday Redux: Handbag Re-do
Greetings from New Mexico (again)! I've made the turn east and am headed for home, where I will probably land on Tuesday or Wednesday. Photos have been updated through San Francisco. (linked)
This week's Makeover Monday post is once again revisiting a topic from last year. This revisit is inspired by the sore shoulder I've acquired from carrying around a purse/tote bag crammed with...stuff. I've done so well on keeping an organized handbag, until this trip. Now, it's all a jumble of papers, maps, brochures, and...stuff. Time for a re-do, for sure.
If your handbag (wallet, gym bag, briefcase, etc.) could use a makeover, check out this post (linked) for some handy tips!
I've missed you all so much! My reader is at 623 unread posts, so I know what I'll be doing while I'm catching up laundry. :)
Be well...and have an awesome week!

I purposely bought a smaller purse to force myself from carrying so much! I don't get these huge purse out there & not even pockets in them so everything sort of just gels together! I like separators! :-)
Thx for the pics! Keep enjoying!
Some people have a thing for shoes. With me, it's pocketbooks! But I keep mine small. My cousin can use her purse as a defensive weapon. Head trauma on some villain it will be.
you, too!
Cammy...great site!! I'd love to talk about a link exchange with you. Can't click on your e-mail though, can you send me an email to adam@turnupmyworkout.com and I'll follow up?
Thanks so much!!
Adam
I bought a smaller purse, but when you carry a loaded firearm, there's just no way to cut down on the weight! ;-) Now that it's getting colder, I'll be able to conceal my firearm on my person and not have to carry it in the purse.

You've been gone sooooo long! Are you home yet????
Loving the pictures.
The pics are great, and I hope you're having the time of your life!!
My purse is sort of big, although I have simplified what I carry in it.
P.S. - I left a little something for you on my blog.
I love your pictures, recognized the SF ones, love the top of GGB poking over the fog. That bridge is so funny! I've been on another bridge, not 30 miles away, headed to Vallejo, where it's in the high 90s, and the GGB will be slow due to fog. And 63F. I'll be heading to Venice Beach for Thanksgiving, I will walk all over that town, may try to bring my bike down there.
After living in the Mission of SF for so long, I am far too paranoid to carry a purse, or anything else easy to grab. As pretty as it is, I don't ask for trouble, and I'd rather feel comfortable being out at night, walking or biking or bussing, not paying for taxis, than carrying a purse. I don't wear makeup anyway, or comb my hair, etc. Just trying not to be mugged. :-)
Hey, I heard that your blog was featured in this month's Woman's Day mag. Mayjah high fives!
