Rest Stop: Just in Time for Some Celebrating

Greetings from…my house! Only for a few days, though. I have friends coming in town and then we’re off to visit another friend in Texas. Yee-hah!

While driving yesterday I realized that this week marks my two year anniversary at goal weight! Party time! Woo-hoo!

Okay that I was fun. I suspect that after 2+ weeks on the road, I may be outside my “safe” range. I have no idea, and the only way you’d get me near a scale right now would be to knock me out and drag me onto it. My pants still fit, and that’s good enough for me. I’ll mind my Ps and Qs for a couple of weeks and by the time I get around to weighing, I’ll be within (or near) goal range. At least, that’s how it’s worked for the past two years. There’s always a first time for everything, as the saying goes.

While I’m happy for ME on this anniversary, I’m also happy for YOU. My ability to maintain a 100-pound loss for two years is proof positive that YOU can do it, too. And probably with a lot more style, too! So dig in, keep fighting, and focus on those things within your control–you’ll be in YOUR goal range before you know it!

You’ve been so kind to stick around during my travels, and I feel a teensy bit guilty for asking for you to hang in for another week. But not guilty enough to stay home. :) I’ll be bouncing in and out for the next week or so, and then it’s back to normal. Well, what constitutes normal in Cammy-world. :)

Maybe a middle Tennessee gathering . . . !
