Up On The Roof

If you’re looking for me today, that’s where I’ll be: up on the roof. (And yes, now I’ll be humming that song all day, trusting I sound like Her Royal Highness, Carole King.)

It’s a functional exercise day for me with gutter cleaning, leaf raking/bagging/hauling and general home spiffying. I predict 3 or 4 hours, which should be enough to replace my 45-minute normal Friday gym workout. I’m counting on it anyway.

And now…to the roof! Here’s hoping I don’t fall and break my leg because a) I don’t have health insurance and b) it would hurt like hell!

  1. Be careful! I worry every time my husband gets up there. Not long ago he was doing something on the roof when he was insulating the attic and I had to leave the house so I told my son to please listen for screams of pain!

  4. Be careful up there! And I think it should TOTALLY count as your exercise day – I’m always super sore after a raking outside day!
