It’s Memorial Day weekend here in the U.S., a time when we honor those who died while serving in the military. I’ll be honest, for many years, I mostly saw Memorial Day as just another work holiday–the first one since New Year’s Day (or Christmas, some years).
Now that I’m older and wiser, I have a much greater appreciation for the sacrifices made by our service men, women, and (my inclusion) animals. And for their families, friends, and trainers.
So this post is not about me, not about weight loss or fitness. It’s about honoring them for their service and sacrifice.
