Honoring the Fallen

In honor of those who have served our country

Thank you!

It’s Memorial Day weekend here in the U.S., a time when we honor those who died while serving in the military. I’ll be honest, for many years, I mostly saw Memorial Day as just another work holiday–the first one since New Year’s Day (or Christmas, some years).
Now that I’m older and wiser, I have a much greater appreciation for the sacrifices made by our service men, women, and (my inclusion) animals. And for their families, friends, and trainers.

So this post is not about me, not about weight loss or fitness. It’s about honoring them for their service and sacrifice.

Thank you doesn’t begin to cover it, but it’s a start.

  1. Cammy, like you, for many years, it was just a day off from a 60+++ hour work week. Yes, being older & wiser, it is much more than that!

    Thx for this post!
