Some people collect stamps; some people collect coins. I collect quotes. This collection have the power to transform my day, to lift me up, to inspire me to action, to teach me new ideas, to make me smile or laugh out loud. These quotes change something about me, no matter how many times I read them.
Unlike the stamp collector or coin enthusiast, I don’t have to lock away my collection for safe-keeping. In fact, it’s more valuable if I share it! So today, I thought I’d share my current “Top Ten” favorite quotes, from a variety of sources. If you asked me tomorrow, some would stay, others would be replaced, but they’re all valuable.
MY TOP 10: (CURRENT) FAVORITE QUOTES

Yeah, yeah, I know. That’s ten. But I can’t resist just one more. It’s perfect for today’s workout mantra:
Feel free to share a favorite quote or two (or ten) that’s among your current favorites!

Great quotes – thanks for sharing….
One of mine is “never have a wishbone where a backbone ought to be”
Nice work Cammy, all of them very inspirational!
One of my faves is “It’s never too late to be what you might’ve been.” I’ve kind of been living my life that way the past 4-5 years and so far so good!
I love “those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” It has been attributed to many people including Dr. Seuss. He has some great ones:)
I have always loved the classic “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Cause sometimes I have to say to myself – stop messing with stuff!
LOL at Ellen’s quote. You realize you just ruined Mr. Monk’s day by adding an 11th quote, right?
This was terrific for a Monday morning, Cammy. Here’s a favorite of mine:
It does not matter how slowly you go, as long as you do not stop.
~ Confucius 孔夫子
Thanks for these great quotes, Cammy!
“The first rule of holes: when you’re in one, stop digging.” Molly Ivins
I love them all!
This is one of my favorites:
“Healing may not be so much about getting better, as about letting go of everything that isn’t you – all of the expectations, all of the beliefs- and becoming who you are”. — Rachel Naomi Remen

LOVE your number 11! Also love Jan’s classic: “The first rule of holes: when you’re in one, stop digging.” Molly Ivins. I think my favorite is, “You can’t plow a field by turning it over in your mind.” It applies to me and my would be marathon training – I make all sorts of plans and don’t quite follow through enough…
And I thought my bookmark collection was lightweight, didn’t take much storage room, and was reasonably inexpensive! I like that your favorites can change daily, too.
Love these!!!
Here’s one of mine. I sometimes wonder if I should love it or if it’s a positive thing. But it makes me laugh and that’s good enough.
“When we lose twenty pounds… we may be losing the twenty best pounds we have! We may be losing the pounds that contain our genius, our humanity, our love and honesty.” ~Woody Allen

“The question is not what you look at, but what you see.” ~ Henry David Thoreau
Here’s the quote I’ve been thinking on lately: “Perfectionism is self-abuse of the highest order.” – Anne Wilson Schaef
Love that last one. Mine probably are made of cinnamon.
Luv the “is there life before death” – thanks for that.
The first one really spoke to me. I looooved that one. Eight!
Ellen’s entry is funny. I’d like to share mine : You will always gravitate towards what you think about the most. It’s sort of a mantra but I do actually believe in it. Thanks for sharing your favorite quotes!
